PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage efficiently non-communication message when a voice talking request cannot be replied in the facsimile mode. SOLUTION: As the message non-communication message processing method conducting a voice speech function attended with image data communication, steps 311-315 providing a ring signal in response to a speech request and checking hook-off, steps 317-319 storing information of an opposite facsimile equipment and a communication time when no hook-off is caused for a prescribed time, a step 321 displaying stored information are executed. When a voice speech request comes at the end of image data communication and the request is not replied, a non-communication message to inform that it is stored and displayed in the facsimile equipment, then a concerned person confirms it surely as required.
