PURPOSE: To provide a developer replenishment device constituted so that toner is prevented from overflowing when a replenishment developer housing container is set or pulled out at the time of toner replenishment work and the toner is prevented from splashing when it is replenished. CONSTITUTION: The developer replenishment device is provided with a developer housing 2, the replenishment developer housing container housing developer for replenishment, an adapter 4 attached to the replenishment developer housing container so that it can be attached or detached and a temporary cap 5 attached to the extracting part of the adapter 4 so that it can be attached and detached. The cap 5 is provided with a top panel wall and a skirt wall formed by being made to hang from the outside circumferential edge of the top panel wall.
