PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of brightness deterioration and nonuniformity in red fluorescent substance stripes, and the occurrence of color mixture, irregular color, and white color uniformity deterioration in green or blue fluorescent substance stripes resulting from the fogging of red fluorescent substance by setting the viscosity of the red fluorescent substance slurry to a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION: Red fluorescent substance slurry 5 is the slurry having specific weight of 1.350±0.02g/cm, viscosity of 21±2cst, PH of 8.5±8.5±0.5, and specific weight against the PVD of fluorescent substance P/B (P is the weight (g) of the fluorescent substance, and B is the weight (g) of PVA) of 14.01. In such red fluorescent substance 3r slurry, the viscosity is low so that the same is easy to precipitate, and the degree of filling is improved. The lower the viscosity is, the higher precipitation speed becomes, and the degree of the filling can become high. However, it is not desirable that the viscosity exceeds the lower limit of 21±2cst, as application nonuniformity and collision bubbles at filling easily occur. On the other hand, the specific weight is larger than the specific weight of green fluorescent substance 3g slurry or green fluorescent substance 3b slurry.
