PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material capable of obtaining a superior image approximate to a print enhanced in image quality by specifying the spectral absorption density of a yellow image. CONSTITUTION: The spectral absorption densityλL0.2 of an yellow image is set to 470-520nm, and the silver halide photographic sensitive material comprises a yellow image forming silver halide emulsion layer, a magenta image forming silver halide emulsion layer, and a cyan image forming silver halide emulsion layer and each layer contains a silver halide emulsion difference from each other in each spectral sensitivity wavelength region, and it is preferred that at least one of the yellow, magenta, and cyan image forming silver halide emulsion layers has spectral sensitivities having common parts with any emulsion each having a spectral sensitivity wavelength region different from each other.
