ACOUSTIC SIGNAL ENCODING METHOD AND ACOUSTIC SIGNAL DECODING METHOD

PURPOSE: To efficiently perform noise code vector retrieval by CELP system voice coding. CONSTITUTION: Four kinds (A) of pattern vector of respectively continuous two samples are stored in code books 321 -325 , and respective one pattern vectors 391 -395 are selected respectively, and the positions that the vectors 391 -395 can occupy in one frame (40 sample points) are made respective four positions, and are made the sample points different from each other (dotted lines in B). The sum vector of the vectors 391 -395 is made the noise code vector 41, and the vector 41 that a distortion of a reproducing voice becomes minimum is retrieved.
