PURPOSE: To make even an inexperienced operator able to set a desired operation mode by displaying an explanatory picture including instructions to set an operation mode, in response to input through a guidance key. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel 1 is superposed on the top of a display part 7 and a user touches the surface of the panel 1, to transmit the touched coordinate to an interface part 2. This interface part 2 transmit the transferred coordinate to a CPU 5. In this CPU 5, the key depressed on the touch panel 1 is judged by the transferred coordinate. The CPU 5 constitutes a picture set according to the status (condition) of a device and the input to the panel 1 by the user or a guidance display picture and transfers it to a display control part 6. The display part 7 is of a full dot LCD and display data is transferred from the display control part 6 to the display part 7 and visibly displayed thereon. In other words, such a constitution that the key can be arbitrarily displayed by the display data as wall is obtained. |
