PURPOSE: To reduce the precision required for the oscillator of a master clock by using a voltage controlled oscillator. CONSTITUTION: Concerning a spread spectrum system receiver for receiving a spectrum spread signal, for which a cyclic pseudo noise code signal is exerted upon a digital signal, exerting the signal of the same code as the pseudo noise code signal upon this received spread spectrum signal and returning it to the band of the digital signal, this device is provided with a correlator 5 for correlating the pseudo noise code and the signal of the same code, circuits 50 and 51 for finding chip difference or time difference between the timing of correlation to be next detected, and circuits 61 and 62 for controlling the frequency of the signal of the same code corresponding to the chip difference or time difference found by these circuits 50 and 51. |
