DATA MULTIPLEX METHOD, DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD, MULTIPLEX DATA DECODING METHOD AND MULTIPLEX DATA DECODER

PURPOSE: To reduce the jitters of clock and to surely perform decoding by inputting first and second packet strings including data and the reference time signals of a decoder and eliminating reference time signals from a first packet string when the second packet string is inputted within the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION: Picture data, voice data and the other data to be multiplexed are compression-encoded through a picture encoder 14, a voice encoder 15 and a data encoder 16, turned to PES packets, inputted to first and second data multiplex parts 1 and 2 and multiplexed while being converted to TS packets. The output data of the multiplex parts 1 and 2 are further multiplexed in the multiplex part 3. When the TS packets of the multiplex parts 1 and 2 are simultaneously inputted to the multiplex part 3, the deviation of ITS packets is generated for multiplexing and PCR fluctuates. Thus, a reference clock PCR is inserted to the multiplex data and a PCR field included in the TS packet on the input side of the multiplex part 1 is eliminated at the time of collision.
