TWO-WAY CATV SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable two-way CATV system capable of suppressing the decline of the effect of a data processing due to the increase of the number of subscriber terminals and reconstituting the system corresponding to the conditions of the number of the subscriber terminals. CONSTITUTION: The appearing number of communication commands is measured in a measurement part inside a center control means 105 and the data of a short data length are written in incoming and outgoing conversion tables 103 and 110 in the descending order of the frequency. Data from the terminal are converted in the incoming conversion table 103 and read in the center control means 105. Also, control data 111 are supplied from the outgoing conversion table 110 to a modulation means 113 and output data are sent out to a transmission line. At the time of the system request of the communication command of high frequency, two-way directional communication is performed by the data of the short data length.
