PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color wheel for an image display system device which is low in cost, is lightweight and is suitable for mass production. SOLUTION: The color wheel 15 has a solid hub and the outer edge of the color filter segments formed of thin plastic members. The circular ends of the filter segments are extend from the peripheral edge of the hub and the opposite side end of the filter segments is mounted between the front part and rear part of the hub. The formation of the whole of the color wheel 15 of plastic is possible.
