The cord is a flexible narrow cord (1) which is made in non-extensible and non-allergenic material. Its length is 20% greater than the size of the waist of the user. It is held round the waist by loops round the legs (4) which are joined to the cord by vertical cords. The length of the cord round the waist is adjustable. One end has a loop (2) and knots (3a-3c) made in its other end cooperate with the loop. The cord is joined to a garment, an under-garment or an accessory such as a belt.
