BROADCAST RECEPTION METHOD AND BROADCAST RECEIVER

PURPOSE: To decode the video data and audio data of a specified channel and to transfer a part or all of the other channels while they are kept digital by receiving multiplex digital TV broadcasting. CONSTITUTION: A receiver 1 receives the broadcasting data of the multiplex digital TV broadcasting of (m) programs broadcasted from a broadcasting medium and supplies them to a program selector 2 for transmission, the program selector 3 for decoding and a signal information obtaining device 7. The program selector 3 for decoding selects one program from (m) programs included in the broadcasting data and sends the data of the program to a decoder 5 and the decoder 5 decodes the program selected in the program selector 3 for decoding. The program selector 2 for transmission obtains (n) [(m)>=(n)] programs from the (m) programs and sends them through a digital interface 4 to a transmitter 6.
