Assembly of plane composite non-aligned panels - uses composite corner bracket having recess on contact surfaces with panel for receiving glue injected through two holes, corner bracket being fixed, before gluing by self tapping screws

Two plane composite non-aligned panels, one monolithic (7) and the other a sandwich type (2), are assembled by a composite, fibre glass based, corner bracket (3). The latter has, on its contact surfaces with the panels, a recess (6) for receiving a glue. There are two holes (5) in the corner bracket for injecting the glue. The angle of the corner bracket can be acute, obtuse or a right angle. It is fixed before gluing by means of two self tapping screws (4) or by rivets.
