PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide the position of the information under display in an entire display area to facilitate designation of a desired viewing part and also to reduce the shift of the viewer's eyes, to attain the effective use of a screen, and furthermore to continuously and smoothly magnify the images. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display 20 which has a screen to display images, a pointing device 18 which points out an optional area out of an entire image (display image) shown on the screen of the display 20, a magnification/reduction processing part 15 which magnifies the image in the area pointed out by the device 18, and a CPU 11 which puts the magnified image on the display image and also displays the overlappjng display image put under the magnified image on the screen of the display 20 with reduction of the density of the display image. |
