PURPOSE: To immediately avoid a collision even when the addresses of plural devices collide by returning a response, to which the address of its own device is added, corresponding to an address request and transmitting this received address from the side, where this response is received, while adding that address to a command. CONSTITUTION: After an XID command frame 1009 containing a device address (b) is received from a device B, a device A broadcasts an XID command frame 1003, to which the device address (b) is added, to devices B-D. The device D, which receives the XID command frame 1003, compares this device address (b) with its own device address (d) and when the values of those addresses are equal, it is detected that the device addresses collide. Then, the device D generates a new device address d' in the manner of random number. Since the device D transmits an XID command frame 1011 containing the device address d', the collision of device addresses can be avoided. |
