PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily display and move stereoscopic images. CONSTITUTION: Many transparent displays 4 are arranged in an X direction, Y direction and X direction within a stereoscopic image display section 1 sized about 1m×1m×1m. These transparent displays 4 are controlled in the transmission quantity of light by a control section. The example shown in Fig. is a case where the stereoscopic image 3 of a bird is displayed in the following manner: The transparent displays 4 of prescribed positions are selected and the transmission quantity of the light of the selected transparent displays 4 is controlled, by which the transparent displays 4 are imparted with light opacity and are made visible blackish. The respective constituting elements of the stereoscopic image 3 of the bird to be displayed are constituted by such transparent displays. This stereoscopic image 3 of the bird is moved by previously storing the data on the stereoscopic image 3 of the bird at every prescribed time into a memory section, sending the data at every prescribed time to the control section and controlling the transparent displays 4 in the stereoscopic image display section 1 by the control section in accordance with such data. The stereoscopic image 3 of the bird is thereby moved continuously and smoothly. The stereoscopic image 3 of the bird is visible from all directions. |
