PURPOSE: To provide a safe secondary battery wherein absorbing/releasing an electrolytic component are reversibly performed to decrease a battery function, by using a heat sensing polymer as a separator of nonaqueous electrolyte battery. CONSTITUTION: As a polymerization initiator, azobisisobutyronitrile is used from 50 pts.wt. N-vinyl isobutylamide monomer and from 50 pts.wt. N-vinyl acetoamide monomer, to perform solution polymerization to obtain a copolymer. In a characteristic evaluation vessel of the copolymer, propylene carbonate used as an electrolyte is injected, to place the copolymer in the electrolyte, to perform increasing/decreasing a temperature in a 100 to 150 deg.C temperature range in an oven. In this temperature range, permeability of light, when a copolymer is placed in a balanced condition, is measured to observe a changing factor of the permeability simultaneously with capable of confirming heat sensitivity. This copolymer serves as a separator, to constitute a secondary battery, as a result of evaluation, to obtain sufficient voltage and to obtain a chargeable/ dischargeable secondary battery. |
