FIELD: mechanical engineering; disk brakes. SUBSTANCE: disk brake has frame 1, clamp 2 mounted for displacement along carrying axle 3 and guide stud 5, and spring 9 tending to shift clamp away from frame. One end 11a of coil spring 9 is pressed to clamp bow and is pointed in opposition to direction (D) in which clamp moves relative to frame when brake is applied. Spring provides reliable return of clamp in initial position. EFFECT: improved operation reliability. 1 dwg
