PURPOSE: To record information both on a guide groove and between guide grooves and to density a recording medium by forming a spiral recording track going around a circumference plural times on a disk-like recording medium and forming a guide groove every other round. CONSTITUTION: In this device, a circumference on which a guide groove G shown by a solid line 1 is formed and a circumference with a land L shown by a broken line, i.e., on which nothing is formed, are alternately arranged so as to become a spiral shape. Since the groove G and the land L exist alternately viewing from the radial direction, this disk-like recording medium has the arrangement provided with the reduction effect of crosstalk. Consequently, recording is performed both in the land L and the groove G and the medium is highly densified. |
