PURPOSE: To provide the interchangeable lens system on which every type of lens such as fore-element focus type lens unit and inner focus type lens unit is mounted. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with a magnification lens 102, a focus lens 105, a lens cam data memory 120 storing a relation of position of the focus lens to keep a focus state during the magnification, an AF signal processing circuit 113 extracting a focus signal equivalent to a signal within a focus detection area from image pickup outputted from image pickup element 106-108, and a lens microcomputer 116 controlling the magnification lens and the focus lens based on both an output of the lens cam data memory and an output of the AF signal processing circuit 113 to conduct magnification, and the lens microcomputer 116 and the lens cam data memory 120 are included in a lens unit and the output of the AF signal processing circuit 113 is given to the lens unit. |
