PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of setting a target value for a density sensor in a shorter time than in a conventional manner. CONSTITUTION: The inclination of a line showing relation between the density of a reference patch fixed on paper and the density of the reference patch formed on a photoreceptor drum is previously stored in a target value setting device 421. The line showing the relation between the density of the reference patch fixed on the paper and the density of the reference patch formed on the photoreceptor drum is set based on the inclination, the density of the reference patch fixed on the paper, and the density of the reference patch formed on the photoreceptor drum. Based on the set line, a toner dispensing device 409 is controlled by an image forming condition adjusting device 417 so as to adjust the supply amount of toner. |
