<p>PURPOSE: To provide a position input device having high operability and a picture display device capable of precisely and easily recognizing an input position and supporting the improvement of operability of the position input device. CONSTITUTION: The position input device consists of an input board 5 and a signal output part 8 for converting an output from each depressed position into voltage and outputting the voltage. The input board 5 is formed by arranging and laminating a protection sheet 1 on the uppermost layer, a touch sensing board 2 on a 2nd layer, an intermediate board 3 on a 3rd layer, and a pressure sensing board 4 on a 4th layer. The signal output part 8 consists of a 1st output part 6 for outputting a touch sense signal and a 2nd output part 7 for outputting a pressure sense signal. The touch sense signal expressing the coordinate position of a touch sensing sensor existing in an area touched by pressure more than a certain value and the pressure sense signal expressing a position receiving comparatively strong depression and the degree of depression are displayed on a CRT display 12 as superposed 1st and 2nd pictures through a display control part 11 in a CRT display device 20.</p> |
