METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FLAT-BOTTOM BAGS WITH A GLUED-ON BOTTOM LINING

Proposed is a method for the manufacture of flat-bottom bags with a glued-on bottom lining (26), the method being characterized in that, to glue the lining on, a contact adhesive (34, 52, 54) is used which only develops the required bonding force when the two surfaces coated with the adhesive are pressed together, the adhesive being applied to the material from which the bag (10) is to be made before the material is formed into a tube shape and fed to the folding station, the adhesive-coated lining being laid in place and the bonding process being completed by exerting pressure on the folded-flat bottom (18) of the bag.
