<p>There is disclosed an in-ground sprinkler support (24) in which a pop-up sprinkler head and housing (10) is mounted. The support (24) comprises a cage having substantially parallel top (26) and base (30) plates, with the base plate (30) having a substantially greater span that the top plate (26) and a downwardly and outwardly divergent foraminous wall (34) extending between said top and base plates, and with an opening (28) in the top plate (26) of the cage to receive the sprinkler head and housing (10). There is also disclosed a subterranean pipe (70) and pipe support (58) which comprises a hollow-form pipe saddle located beneath a subterranean pipe, with the saddle having an open bottom with a base plate (60) and a longitudinal upstanding rib (62) having a central concavity (64) bearing against the undersurface of the pipe (70).</p> |
