The envelope is made form paper and has a pocket (4) for the prints (8) that is connected with one (5) for the negatives. A transparent foil (11) is attached to one wall (2,3) of one of the pockets. Foil and wall form a third pocket (14) that is at least (9) cm by (13) cm large and holds the index print (10). Three sides of the foil are glued, notched and/or pressed to the pocket's wall. The fourth side remains separate, forming a slit (15). A fourth pocket can be part of the envelope, providing space for a film cartridge. The connections between the pockets can be perforated.
