The flywheel (10) is located between two plate-shaped (20,26) rotary elements (12,14), with a bearing (28) in between. Its outer race (102) is mounted in a support (104) in the centre part of the inside of the second rotary element (14). The outer race abuts axially against the bottom of a bearing support (108) via a tapering section (110,111), formed by axial compression of latches, extending from the radially inner edge (112), of a part of an annular disc (42) of a rotary component.
