Drive for bells in tower - has sensor for angular position of bell and motor speed controller to decrease bell speed as it changes direction

A bell drive system giving permanent control of the bell movement. It drives and brakes the bell within a cycle and forces a certain angular speed upon the bell. There is an sensor (5) for the angular position, connected with the speed controller (7) for the motor (3), the speed being controlled according to angle. The sensor joins the controller through a unit which contains stored characteristic curves(4). The drive(6) reduces the angular speed of the oscillating bell in the region of its zero crossing-point (when it changes direction) with respect to free movement and increases the angular speed when the bell approaches its maximum angular deviation.
