PURPOSE: To reduce burden on an observer by switching a mode to a two-dimensional mode when an image in which no binocular fusion is taken by an image pickup condition, etc., is image-picked up. CONSTITUTION: This device is equipped with plural cameras 1-1 -1-n arranged at plural viewpoints 1-n, a display mode switching part 5, and a multi-eye type stereoscopic display part 4. The output 3-1 -3-n of the cameras 1-1 -1-n are inputted to the display mode switching part 5, respectively, and the output 6-1 -6-n of the display mode switching part 5 are inputted to the multi-eye type three- dimensional display part 4. When a three-dimensional mode is selected, the output 3-1 -3-n of the cameras 1-1 -1-n go to the output 6-1 -6-n of the display mode switching part 5. When the two-dimensional mode is selected, either one of the output 3-1 -3-n of the cameras 1-1 -1-n is selected, and set as the output 6-1 -6-n of the display mode switching part 5. |
