<p>The present invention is directed to novel progesterone derivatives, as well as to pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and methods of treatment using the derivatives. More particularly, the invention relates to C7-substituted derivatives of the pregnene series. The present invention is directed to methods of treating multidrug-resistant tumors, and especially breast tumors, with novel C7-substituted progesterone analogs.</p> |
