<p>The door or gate consists of a vertical column (1) from which a door panel (4) swings on at least two hinges (6). The door can be reinforced with steel panels (5) which are mounted between the door panel and the hinges. The door can be closed with a lock with panic override. The override consists of a leaf-spring (9) which is pre-loaded so that it determines the force required to override the locking mechanism. The leaf-spring is attached to one of the reinforcing plates (5b) of the door.</p>
