Apparatus and method for continuously and uniformly supplying dough

The apparatus includes oppositely positioned rolls located at the bottom of a hopper (1) for dough. The gap between the rolls is periodically increased and decreases, to avoid concentrated stress in the dough. The rolls are driven in opposite directions and linearly moved and/or swung to repeatedly carry out pressing motions on the dough. A plurality of pairs of oppositely and horizontally positioned rolls may be provided.
