A timepiece, particularly a watch (1), including a flat, hollow decorative portion (9) internally defining a relatively thin, flat chamber (10) and containing at least one decorative element or material (11). At least one planar wall (12) of the decorative portion is transparent and has an outer surface (12a) forming a dial. A hole (9a) is provided in said portion for receiving the spindle (7, 8) supporting the hands (5, 6). Said decorative portion (9) includes an assembly of an outer ring (13) and an inner sleeve (14) with an axial hole (14c) for said spindle (7, 8) supporting the hands (5, 6), whereby said ring and said sleeve form a bracing assembly between a transparent plate (15) on one side and, on the other side, at least one further plate (16a) parallel to said transparent plate (15). |
