A lock cylinder comprises a plug which is provided with a row of pin-apertures along its axis and a plug housing provided with a row of pin-apertures aligned with the pin-apertures in the plug. The pins disposed in the pin-apertures have continuous channels on their circumference surfaces. In each of the first row of apertures there is an anti-friction ball under the pin therein. The balls contact with a key inserted in the plug. This kind of lock cylinder may offer efficacious protection against picking. |
