The device is activated by a main switch (5), and a wedge-shaped switching unit (8) taken from a casing (10) is placed under a wheel. It features an optical switch (11) and a capacitive switch (12) whose signals are reflected at distances of 40 and 20 mm, and a liquid switch (13) giving a signal at slopes between zero and 15[deg]. The signals are conveyed with those of a null position switch (6) to a distributor (7) linked to a stored-program controller (4). An audible warning is sounded (3) and visual signals (2) are switched from green to flashing red, allowing e.g. a truck driver to leave the danger zone.
