The delivery device comprises a concave curved insert table with bottle guides and insert finger drive with gearings. At least one gearing member consists of a force-biased component which can be adjusted in length by pushing or pulling. On exceeding an adjustable force in the component a signal is given with subsequent stoppage of the common drive shaft (6) and main drive for the conveyor chains (3). To remove a blockage the insert table (4) and insert finger (5) can be moved independently of each other and separately from the common drive shaft (6). The length adjustable component can have a pneumatic cylinder (11) whose force is adjustable through the air pressure. External forces caused by blockages exceed the set force of the cylinder whereby the piston rod and cylinder remove relative to each other in the pneumatic cylinder and produce the signal through which the drive shaft and main drives are switched off.
