This device is made of an optionally elastic, rigid deformable spirally wound strip (1). Said spiral has one or more protrusions (3) with an optional supplementary notch. A condom (2) is held on the spiral by means of its protrusions or notch. By pushing on the ends of the spiral, or on its push lugs (4a, 4b), the spiral is spread open and the condom diameter is widened, so as to be slid on the penis. The device ensures easy, secure and quick application of the condom. Each applicator is preferably prepositioned on a condom when sold.
