<p>An adjusting method and apparatus is provided for optimizing the CB of casting sand relative to the deformation properties of a casting mold. The method consists of measuring compactibility of casting sand by compactibility measuring means 4 and a value of compressive deformation of a sample mold 10 corresponding to the compactibility by compressive deformation measuring means 5, repeating the measuring step at least three times, and operating the optimum compactibility, at which the value of compressive deformation of the sample mold 10 is the minimum, by operation means 7.</p> |
