The film is in the form of a thin flexible membrane 10 with an electrical circuit 30 encapsulated within. The circuit is of double pole design with an end of line monitoring device, and is engineered to detect a short circuit or open circuit attack. The membrane has an adhesive film 20 on one side so that it can be attached to the device it has to protect. The membrane can be stuck to the inside of security equipment controllers, power supplies, sounders etc, and also be used in security cabinets etc. if the protected equipment is attacked with a drill, blowtorch etc, the circuit tracks will be short circuited or open circuited and cause an alarm condition a long time before the security of the protected equipment is breeched. |
