Hydrogen containing antibacterial zeolite, which is useful as an absorbent, is manufactured. In an example, i) in the process of ammonium ion exchange, 40g of sodium sudstituted zeolite(COLITE-P) is melted in distilled water and added with 0.1N surfuric acid to adjust pH 5.0-8.5. 40mec/10g Zeolite is stirred with calcium solution (Ca(NO3)24H2O) and reacted with ammonium nitrate, washed, dried at 65 deg.C and heated at 450 deg.C in the furnace to eliminate ammonia, ii) in the process of hydrogen ion exchange, 50g sodium substituted zeolite(COLITE-P) is melted in destilled water and added with 0.1N surfuric acid to adjust pH 5.0-8.5. 40 mec/10g Zeolite is stirred with (Ca(NO3)24H2O) and reacted with ammoniun nitrate, washed, and dried at 65 deg.C.
