PURPOSE:To make it possible to hold the security of outer environment by providing a means for catching cell-reactants and formed reactants released to the outside of a cell when an Na-S cell enclosing-case is broken. CONSTITUTION:When a cell enclosing-case 1 is broken, reactants Na, S and Na2SX in a cell are released into an airtight enclosing-case 2 enclosing the cell enclosing-case 1 and are stored in a storage 9 after melting a melting plate 8. Uncondensed gas and mist are exhausted through an exhausting duct 5 after destroying a destroying-plate 4 provided on the upper part of the enclosing-case 2 by the pressure generated when the enclosing-case 1 is broken. The exhausted gas or mist is adsorbed by an adsorber 6 to be removed and remaining gas reacts in a scrubber 7 to be removed. |
