PURPOSE:To improve sensitivity and repetitive stability by dispersing one or more kinds of specific compds. into a prescribed polycarbonate resin to form an electric charge transfer layer and incorporating a specified ratio of specific compds. into an electric charge generating layer to form said layer. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body is formed by laminating the charge generating layer 2 and the charge transfer layer 3 on a conductive base 1. The charge transfer layer 3 formed by dispersing one or more kinds of the compds. expressed by formula I into the polycarbonate resin constituted of one or both of the monomer units expressed by formulas II and III and the charge generating layer 2 is constituted by incorporating 1-30wt.% one or more kinds of the compds. expressed by formula I therein.
