PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a three-dimensional graphic image inexpensively and safely in a short time by diciding a cutting locus of a cutter on the basis of a value of a plane surface outline, a maximum of set value, and a radius and a cutting angle of a rotary cutter. SOLUTION: The number of a cutting locus required in cutting a graphic image requiring a minimum thickness is obtained according to the maximum cutting depth of a cutter determined with the radius 76 and a cutting angle 78 of the cutter 50. The cutting locus of a rotary shaft 52 is specifically determined with the difference between the three-dimensional outlines of the graphic image, indivisual offset values for every cutting locus and cutting depths. According to the cutting locus of the cutter, a cutting tool works, and a cutter 50 moves on the cutting locus to cut a sheetlike material to be cut, thereby producing a three-dimensional graphic image. |
