<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a difference in level caused by a partial increase of a pipe inner diameter by arranging a seal material and a means for compressing the seal material on the depth side of a receiving pipe than the position of an intermediate jack at the time of an advance. CONSTITUTION: When an intermediate jack is removed and an inserting pipe 8 is further inserted into a receiving pipe 7, the end section 34 is located on the inner circumference side of a seal material pressing face 18, and a seal material 20 is arranged between the seal material pressing face 18 and the outer peripheral face of the end section 34. The receiving pipe 7 and the inserting pipe 8 are relatively moved largely along the axial direction between the fitting position of the intermediate jack and the installing position of the seal material 20, and a sediment inflow preventing plate 12 is formed at the length corresponding to it. The intermediate jack is installed to advance the pipe for the jacking work. After the jacking work is finished, the end section 34 of the inserting pipe 8 is located on the inner circumference side of the seal material pressing face 18 to compress the seal material 20, and the receiving pipe 7 and inserting pipe 8 are connected together in the seal state.</p> |
