PURPOSE: To obtain an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition by which light is highly transmitted and satisfactorily diffused and which is reduced in discoloration during molding and dry exposure at a high temp. by incorporating specific ingredients. CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises: 100 pts.wt. mixture consisting substantially of 60-99.8wt.% aromatic polycarbonate resin, 0.120wt.% calcium carbonate, and 0.1-20wt.% short glass fibers; 0.001-1 pt.wt. phosphite compound and/or phosphate compound; and 0.001-1 pt.wt. phenolic antioxidant. The molded article made of this composition preferably has a total light transmittance of 35% or higher and a degree of dispersion of 20 deg. or higher when in the form of a 3mm-thick sheet, and preferably has an initial hue (b value) of 2 or smaller and a thermal discoloration value (ΔE) of 10 or smaller when in the form of a 2mm-thick sheet.
