POWDER RELEASE AGENT FOR METAL MOLD

PURPOSE: To provide a powder release agent which is advantageous for averting the adhesion to the parting planes, which are maintained in a low-temp. state, among metal molds and is advantageous in assuring the accuracy of molded goods and decreasing flashes. CONSTITUTION: This powder releasing agent is composed by mixing inorg. powder particles 6 which are not melted by the heating of cavity mold surfaces 3 and powder particles 7 consisting of an org. compd. in addition to wax particles 5. Talc and mica are adoptable as the inorg. powder particles 6. Polyethylene wax and nylon powder are adoptable as the powder particles 7 consisting of the org. compd. The powder particles 7 have a grain size of 0.1 to 50μm. A release agent coating applicator 7X is inserted into the space between the stationary mold 11 and the moving mold 10 and the powder release agent is blown from a blowing nozzle 71 toward the cavity mold surfaces 3 of a high temp. by a force feed pump 73. The parting planes 4 are low in temp.
