PURPOSE: To provide a hydrogen/oxygen generator in which the heat of separated water from one of gas-liquid separators is utilized as heat sources of heaters placed at certain positions on pipeline routes from an electrolyzer to compressors respectively. CONSTITUTION: This generator is provided with a hydrogen heater 60 that is placed at a peripheral position on a gaseous hydrogen supply route 48 connecting a gas-liquid separator 40 for gaseous hydrogen with a gaseous hydrogen compressor 80, an oxygen heater 50 that is placed at the peripheral position on a gaseous oxygen supply route 38 connecting a gas-liquid separator 30 for gaseous oxygen with a gaseous oxygen compressor 70. A part of the separated pure water by the gas-liquid separator 30 for gaseous oxygen is utilized as the heat source of the oxygen heater 50 and thereafter, recycled to a pure water tank 10 through a pure water recycle path and concurrently, the other portion of the separated pure water is utilized as the heat source of the hydrogen heater 60 and thereafter, recycled to the pure water tank 10 through the pure water recycle path. |
