PURPOSE: To uniformly and certainly fuse plastic pipes while preventing the generation of the heating irregularity of the plastic pipes. CONSTITUTION: The joint 6 heated and melted by the irradiation with microwaves and mutually fusing thermoplastic pipes 8a, 8b is irradiated with microwaves to be heated and the thermoplastic pipes 8a, 8b are mutually fused by the heat generated in the joint 6. In this fusing method, the joint 6 is irradiated with microwaves altered stepwise in output level from low output to high output to stepwise heat the thermoplastic pipes 8a, 8b. |
