<p>PURPOSE: To provide an automatic setting machine for a longline capable of fixing swivels on a main line with fixing pieces at a desired pitch and in a homogeneous manner regarding caulking pressure, and setting a longline having sufficient fixing strength. CONSTITUTION: This automatic setting machine for a longline is composed of a supplying part for supplying a fishing gut to become a main line under a constant tension, a work piece-supplying part consisting of a swivel-supplying guide shaft and a fixing material guide, a setting part, a fishing gut-sending part for sending the fishing gut having a specified length and a set thing-winding part for winding up the finished longline. The setting part consists of a cutting and transferring means for cutting a fixing material to make fixing pieces and transferring them to specified positions, and a pressing means for caulking the fixing pieces under strong pressure and fixing them on the fishing gut.</p> |
