<p>PURPOSE: To provide a metal barrel, in particular a beer barrel, in which a remarkable decrease in production cost and improvement in use or performance have been achieved. CONSTITUTION: An upper protector B is provided with a pair of opposite notches 7 which are open in its lower edge, and a lower protector C is also provided with a pair of opposite notches 8 which are open in its upper edge. The notches 8 of the lower protector C are used as handholds and water-removal holes when the barrel is laid lengthwise.</p> |
