PURPOSE: To provide both a hydroponic culture device capable of uniformly and excellently growing roots in air, roots in water, wet roots, active roots, etc., and technology for growing a rhizosphere part corresponding to seasons. CONSTITUTION: A water storing means and an activating, dispersing and supporting device are laid in a hydroponic culture box. Namely, the water storing means 4 is installed at the lower part of a pot. The root group of a plant reaches the water storing means 4 and further elongates downward. A jet flow is filled in the water storing means to produce various rhizosphere growth forms. Roots 6a in air are grown from main roots, vertically drop from a pot and absorb oxygen. Roots 6b in water in a liquid in the water storing means absorb nutrients and dissolved oxygen, wet roots 6c vertically dropping are adapted to both a liquid phase and a gas phase and active roots 6d at the edge of the water storing means are adapted to stabilization of a rhizosphere. The root groupe is made into a dispersed state by a lattice and a net of a root group activating, dispersing and supporting means 8. A harmful influence will not occur by densification. Consequently, an ideal root group formation is obtained to rapidly and soundly grow a plant. The growth of the root group can be controlled by properly changing the position of the water storing means. |
